Personal Experience

After graduating from UIC Law, I passed Illinois Bar in July 2025. I am passionate about civil rights, immigration, and employment law.

I have workers' compensation and professional liability defense firm experience, as well as family law firm experience. I engaged in family and business law motion practice and e-filing at a small firm.

My team and I devoted significant time and energy into publishing a report titled "CBP One Mobile Application: Violating Migrants’ Rights to Privacy and Freedom from Discrimination to protect immigrants' privacy rights" in the International Human Rights Clinic. As a student clinician, I cross-collaborated with another team to assist on asylum matters.

I worked closely with the Voting Rights team at the Chicago Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law during Spring 2024 to address voter hotline issues on-the-ground, protect incarcerated individuals' right to vote, and advised whether state legislation complied with federal law. I had the privilege of assisting the Voting Rights team during both the Illinois and Indiana primaries in 2024. Prior to my work with the Voting Rights team, I advised small business and nonprofit clients on their articles of incorporation and bylaws to ensure compliance for the Economic Justice team in Fall 2023.

I participated in brief writing and oral arguments during the Appellate Lawyers Association Moot Court Competition of 2023 and NYU Immigration Moot Court Competition of 2024.
