Kat Gainey
Law Clerk
Personal Experience
I am a driven and detail-oriented law student with practical experience in administrative work and the nonprofit sector. I hold an Associate of Arts from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Mississippi State University, complemented by minors in English and pre-law.
My career began by serving as executive assistant to the CEO for Child Poverty Action Lab (CPAL), where I honed my organizational, communication, and project management skills. Currently, I am advancing my legal expertise as a JD candidate at Chicago-Kent College of Law. Passionate about using my skills to make a positive impact, I am eager to contribute to the legal field and support justice and advocacy initiatives.
